Recite it back, word by word

Recite out loud and each word turns green when it's right, or red when it's wrong or missed.

  • Guided Recite

    Hear an ayah, then recite it back as the words color in. In a recommended plan, each ayah gets five rounds.

  • Recite

    Read aloud with the text visible.

  • Checked by Hifzan

    Your recitation is checked by Hifzan's own speech recognition.

02 · Test

Test, then practice where you slip

A test hides the text. You recite today's ayahs from memory, one at a time, and each ayah is scored on its own.

  • When the test passes

    Today's plan is done, and new verses unlock tomorrow.

  • When it doesn't

    On Balanced or Strict pacing, Hifzan adds a Guided Recite step for the ayahs that slipped, marked Added by your coach, and asks for one more pass.

Balanced is the default for new plans. Relaxed plans move at the planned pace either way.
